Fantasy Crisis Council

COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION

The Fantasy Crisis Council - one of the long-standing traditions of HMUN Conferences - makes its return at HMUN 11th Session. Delegates are once again to be taken to a thrilling fantasy world, where anything is possible and anything can happen. Unlike traditional Committees, FCC blends rapid decision-making, dynamic crisis elements, and immersive roleplay, allowing Delegates to take control of the narrative and shape the world - or universe - around them.

This year, FCC launches Delegates into the famous 2014 movie “Interstellar”. In this world, time is a luxury, and every action can alter the course of history. With Earth on the brink of collapse, the future of humanity rests on the shoulders of the delegates - who will take on roles of pioneers, scientists, and leaders venturing into the unknown. The Committee must work together to try and save Earth through projects similar to the Lazarus missions or the Endurance Project, racing against time to find a solution to save humanity.

Will Delegates navigate the cosmic anomalies and uncover a new home, or will humanity be lost in the abyss? The universe awaits - prepare to defy gravity and shape destiny!
